Our baby is done with kindergarten. She had such a great year and I was really impressed with the amount she learned. She also made some wonderful friends. I'm so sad that she has to change schools. If the kids at school are as friendly as our new neighbors have been, then she'll be just fine. Speaking of neighbors, in our current (now old) neighborhood, we met one neighbor. We said "Hi" in passing and that was the extent of the friendship. At our new house, we've already met the families on either side of us. Two other families from down the street came over with their kids and brought us watermelon. Then two other neighbors stopped by as well just to chat. Anna and Lauren played for hours with five new friends. I cannot believe the difference in the neighborhoods. I'm super excited!
Back to the other big news though, here are some shots of Anna's last day. The class sang several songs they had learned through the year. In the next two shots, they were singing about a great white shark and a slippery fish.

Anna and Nick (one of the reasons we didn't have an Alice in Wonderland b-day party...Anna was worried because Nick was "freaking out" about going to an Alice party). Apparently, they had "dates" on the playgrounds that the other kids teased them about. Anna is sure Nick loves her because he smiled at her. She is also sure they're going to be married someday. :)
